25th Pontian Festival
Well... where do you start and where do you end? The Pontian festival is an experience that must be experienced on sight and not through words. Our dear federation, that is seated in Frankfurt, managed once again to succeed in what alot of people think that it's impossible... to gather 37 Pontian association's 1300 dancers under one roof and dance so that the whole Europe felt it's presence!

This year's festival was dedicated to the Pontian people's holocaust... and it was done will all the honours to our forfathers that were vanished. we will never forget! The Pontian youth will fight with all peaceful means untill we get redress for all the evil that has been struck on our proud people in our historic home of Evxinos Pontos!

It is a powerful sight... to be there and witness when all 1300 dancers enter the dance floor at the same time under the echos of the kementzedes and the daoulia! And if that isn't enough, you sit tight and you watch every single dance group of the 37 associations in our beautiful traditional dresses for hours! That my friends, is divine!

Of course after all the above there was dance for everyone... with many many kementzedes, daoulia and touloumia! It's an incredible feeling to be there and dance our Pontian dances to morning with a couple of thousands of youths... wha a feeling!
