The big Pontian autumn party!
On November 12, our association will have its big autumn party. It's time again to have our association's big autumn party which will take place on November 12th at Estia Banquet Hall in Barkaby. The release of the tickets will be on October 20th.

Documentary about Pontos
We are having a documentary show in our premises on May 22nd. For the memorial day of the Genocide , our associaion will show the documentary "In the Argonauts trail" upcoming Sunday on May 22nd at 13:00 in our premises in Rinkeby, Stockholm. As always, the event is free of charge and we welcome everyone who is interested to see the film!

Dance performance at the Swedish Parliament
Parts of our dance groups performed in the Swedish Parliament. Just as last year, our association was invited to the Parliament byt the MP:s Greek Friendship Association to perform with our Pontian dances at their annual gathering which took place last Wednesday on April 6th. Our association was present with a dance group and representatives of our board.

Big celebration party for the recognition
We honor last year's recognition of the Genocide with a party. March 11, 2011 was the day when the Swedish Parliament recognised the Genocide of the Christian minorities by Ottoman Turkey. For us Pontian Greeks it is an historic day and for our association a milestone in our 27 year since we were one of the main actors who passed the resolution to the Parliament. Of course we are celebrating the year day of the recognition with a party on March 12, 2011 at the Greek Association in Rinkeby, Stockholm.

The annual meeting and the new board
The annual meeting is over and so is the first board meeting. On January 30, our association had its annual meeting where many members attended the proceedings in our premises in Rinkeby, Stockholm. Of course the meeting was followed by the elections of the new board, which have had its first meeting and allocated all areas of responsibility.
