2010-08-09 Holy liturgy at Panagia Soumela! The first liturgy at Panagia Soumela monastery since 1922. In 78 years have the Pontian Greeks waited to once again experience a holy liturgy at the Panagia Soumela monastery up in the Trapezounta's (Trabzon's) mountains since the Turkish goverment had forbidden it. The liturgy will be held on the day of the Dormition of the Theotokos on August 15th and will be executed by His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I.   2010-06-30 A magical weekend at Bochum in Germany Our association at the wold's biggest Pontian dance festival. For 29 years our european federation has arranged the annual Pontian dance festival for youths and so did it do this year again. The festival city was Bochum in Germany and our association participated with our biggest dance group ever. The weekend in the German city was a fun and exciting conclusion of the spring term before the needed summer break.   2010-05-31 Our association honored in Greece Our work for the recognition of the Genocide honored. Our association's hard work in more than ten years for the recognition of the Genocide by the Swedish Parliament gave a positive result on March 11th this year. This work didn't go by unoticed and many Pontian and other Greek organisations throughout the world have congratulated us for it. Our president represented our association when we were honored by the association "Enosi Pontion Polichnis" and POE (Pontian Federation in Greece) on May 16th and 19th.   2010-04-29 Ingmar Karlsson recieves hard replies! Ingmar Karlsson continues with his Turkish propaganda. The former Swedish diplomat Ingmar Karlsson continues his propaganda, this time in Sydsvenskan, and persists with his unfounded arguments that the Genocide of the Pontian Greeks never took place! Our association has allready answered his earlier article in SvD and refer to the replies of Svante Lundgren, Hans Linde and Bodil Ceballos in Sydsvenskan.   2010-04-10 Manifestation for the Genocide victims Information to our members . April 24 is the official commemoration day for the Armenian Genocide victims. Just as we have for the last three years, we are organize together with the Armenian and Assyrian federation in Sweden and ACSA a manifestation to the memory of all Genocide victims in 1915. No one can be absent on Saturday April 24 at 16:00 at Sergels torg.   2010-04-07 Answer to I. Karlsson's article in SvD Press release . From the day that the Parliament recognised the Genocide, many articles have been written in Swedish media about it and our association respects that everyone has the democratic right to express their own thoughts. On the other hand, we can not respect the article that was written by the former Swedish general consul in Istabul Ingmar Karlsson which he published in SvD on April 3, where he propagates that the Genocide of the Pontian Greeks never took place in history.
