Pontian youth gathering, October 2006
The third and final Pontian youth gathering took place during the weekend of October 7th and 8th in the small town of Neckartenzlingen outside Stuttgart in Germany. The gathering was arranged byt our European Federation. During the first day, all present youths took part in three seminars about history, traditional clothes and Pontian customs. The evening was ended with a party that went on to morning. On Sunday we visited Stuttgart and the Greek church which has a big marble memorial in its yard in memory of the Pontian Genocide. Here are the first pictures from the weekend in Germany where our association was represented by our secretary Kostas Fraggidis, our dance teacher Dina Fraggidou and our danser Julia Theodoridou.
