Our association was founded in 1984 and has until today a big picture archive of our activities like parties, appearances, theater shows, lectures etc. Due to the limeted capacity that we have on our website it is not possible for us to post all these pictures here. Our activities for the memorial of May 19th, May, 2008
Friday May 16th was alot of activities in our association. The whole evening, we made a big effort to honour the memory of the 353,000 victims who were brutally murdered by the Ottoman Turks. Not following our traditions, this year we expanded the activities from lectures to a excibition and a book presentation.

The Armenian manifestation in memory of the Genocide, April 2008
Yesterday, Thursday April 24, the Armenian Federation in Sweden held its annual manifestation for the memory of the genocied in 1915. For the first time here in Sweden, Armenians, Assyrians and Pontians are joing forces to remember all our genocide victims where our dark path is the same with genocides against our poeple by the Ottoman Turkey.

Our Pontian party on April 12, 2008
On Saturday, April 12th 2008 we had another big Pontian party in our premises in Rinkeby, Stockholm where all our dance groups appeared with a 40 minutes long dance act. The tickets where almost sold out and that due to the fact that people always loves to hear and dance to Pontian music... which were presented by our friend and guest from Germany, Antonis Nikiforidis.

On the Swedish Easter Day, March23, the Greek Association in northen Stockholm had a big party and we were invited with our dance groups to make an appearance. The middle group dance with big success and everyone there were amazed how well our dancers made their dancing. Here are some pictures from the party.

OSEPE:s youth meeting in Frankfurt, Germany, March 2008
During the weekend of March 15 and 16, our federation OSEPE held its annual youth meeting in the German city of Frankfurt. At the Kolpinghaus hotel and conference center, 350 Pontia youths gathered to listen and participate in the seminars and speeches that was on the agenda.

OSEPE:s congress, February 2008
During the weekend of February 16-17, 2008 our federation (OSEPE) held its annual congress in the city of Frankfurt, Germany. Our association was represented by our Vice-president Michalis Papadopoulos, our secretary Kostas Fraggidis, PR-representative Georgios Savvidis and the delegates Dina Fraggidou and Michalis Amiridis.

Our Pontian party on January 26, 2008
Saturday the 26 of January 2008 was time for another of our succesful parties in the Greek Association's premises in Rinkeby where our small och middle dance groups appeared. For the youngest it was the first time the appeared in public and they did it with great success!

Our vasilopita celebration, January 2008
Saturday, February 19 was the day where we celebrated our vasilopita in our premises in Rinkeby, Stockholm. It was with great joy to see all our children, teenagers and parents all gathered together.

Outing to the Zoo of Kolmården, May 2007
As finishing of the spring semester 2007 we chose to go to the Zoo of Kolmården with all our dance groups members, young and old. It was a supurb sunny day and the bus was filled with big and small zoo visitors.

Easter Pontian Party April 8, 2007
On the Easter Day our association had a Pontian party in Rinkeby, Stockholm. Musicians were our friends from Germany Theodoros and Vasilis Topalidis who were accompanied by our local band.

13th Pontian Youth congress, April 2007
The weekend of March 31 and April 1 2007, the 13th Pontian Youth Congress took place in the German city of Frankfurt. About 400 delegates were present, representing all 42 member associations of our European Federation.

Dance seminar with Christos Savvidis, March 2007
Between March 7 and 11 2007 we had the honour to have Christos Savvidis from Berlin on visit here in Stockholm. Christos, who have visited us before, doesn't only play lyra, daoul, touloum and gaval... he is also a dance instructor for the Pontian association in Berlin, Germany.

Our big Pontian party, October 2006
The weekend of October 27, 28 and 29, 2006 our association arranged a big Pontian party for our members and friends. We present here some pictures from that weekend, which started with a mouchabet (pre-party) on Friday evening.

3rd Pontian youth gathering, October 2006
The third and final Pontian youth gathering took place during the weekend of October 7th and 8th in the small town of Neckartenzlingen outside Stuttgart in Germany. The gathering was arranged byt our European Federation.

25th Pontian Youth Dance Festival, May 2006
After being absent from the biggest Pontian festival in the world for almost 20 years, it was time for us to travel to Germany and appear with a small part of our dance groups in this year's festival, which also was the biggest one.

1st Pontian world conference, December 2005
Pictures from the first world conference for Pontian youths that took place in the German city of Frankfurt where our association was represented by our secretary Kostas Fraggidis and our vice-president Dimitris Pilpilidis.

Thessaloniki, October 2005
Pictures from the trip to Thessaloniki by our dance teachers Dina Fraggidou and Olga Isaakidou where they met with our partners dance teachers (Enosis Pontion Polichnis) for growth of our dance repertoire.
